La decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 tras no lograr asegurar un inversor que pudiera garantizar la continuidad de la empresa, afectada por la crisis del <strong>Accell Group<\/strong>. Las bicicletas restantes ser\u00e1n liquidadas antes de cerrar por completo.<\/p>\n<h3>Un desenlace inevitable<\/h3>\n<p>Fundada en 1993 en <strong>Waldsassen, Alemania<\/strong>, Ghost se hab\u00eda convertido en una figura central en el mundo del MTB. Sin embargo, tras la apertura del procedimiento de insolvencia el 1 de noviembre en el Tribunal de <strong>Schweinfurt<\/strong>, qued\u00f3 claro que no hab\u00eda una soluci\u00f3n viable para mantener a flote el negocio. La empresa, que a\u00fan ten\u00eda 53 empleados, dejar\u00e1 de aceptar pedidos individuales y vender\u00e1 sus bicicletas en un \u00fanico lote.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abEs lamentable que los esfuerzos por salvar la compa\u00f1\u00eda no hayan tenido \u00e9xito\u00bb, expres\u00f3 <strong>Martin Mucha<\/strong>, abogado encargado del proceso de reestructuraci\u00f3n.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>El final de Ghost tambi\u00e9n marca la desaparici\u00f3n de una estructura que hab\u00eda competido durante a\u00f1os en la <strong>Copa del Mundo XCO<\/strong>, con corredoras destacadas como <strong>Sina Frei<\/strong> y <strong>Anne Terpstra<\/strong>. Tras una reorganizaci\u00f3n interna del Accell Group, Ghost hab\u00eda perdido su presencia en el circuito profesional, siendo absorbida por <strong>Lapierre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Un destino diferente para Haibike y Winora<\/h3>\n<p>Mientras Ghost se enfrenta al cierre, otras marcas del grupo como <strong>Haibike<\/strong> y <strong>Winora<\/strong> han conseguido asegurar su continuidad gracias a la compra por parte de <strong>Bike Tree GmbH<\/strong>, perteneciente al grupo <strong>Tri Star\/DuTech<\/strong>.
