La <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Amigos del Angliru<\/strong> ha presentado una propuesta para incluir tramos de grava en la subida, lo que a\u00f1adir\u00eda un nuevo nivel de dificultad a esta ic\u00f3nica etapa de la <strong>Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>La idea de introducir el gravel<\/h3>\n<p>La propuesta, presentada por Jos\u00e9 Antonio Mu\u00f1iz, exalcalde de Riosa, sugiere a\u00f1adir dos sectores de grava, sumando tres kil\u00f3metros cerca de <strong>Llagos<\/strong>. Esto dejar\u00eda a los ciclistas a menos de cinco kil\u00f3metros de la cima, enfrent\u00e1ndose a rampas empinadas como Los Picones y Cobayos, adem\u00e1s de la temida <strong>Cue\u00f1a les Cabres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Javier Guill\u00e9n<\/strong>, director de la Vuelta, expres\u00f3 que est\u00e1n abiertos a estudiar la propuesta: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abEscuchamos todas las propuestas\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>. Aunque el gravel a\u00fan no ha sido oficialmente incorporado en La Vuelta, este tipo de terreno est\u00e1 ganando popularidad en el ciclismo.<\/p>\n<h3>El impacto del gravel en la competencia<\/h3>\n<p>La inclusi\u00f3n de tramos de tierra podr\u00eda aumentar el espect\u00e1culo, aunque tambi\u00e9n conlleva desaf\u00edos mec\u00e1nicos y log\u00edsticos. Cabe recordar que no siempre una mayor dureza garantiza m\u00e1s espect\u00e1culo, y a menudo los ciclistas adoptan una estrategia conservadora en estas condiciones.<\/p>\n<p>Por el momento, no hay confirmaci\u00f3n de que el Angliru forme parte de la pr\u00f3xima edici\u00f3n de la Vuelta.
