Recientes protestas de ciclistas en eventos como Il Lombard\u00eda y la Par\u00eds Tours han puesto de relieve el tema. En esta ocasi\u00f3n, el jefe de seguridad del <strong>Tour de France<\/strong>, <strong>Thierry Gouvenou<\/strong>, ha manifestado su inquietud por la velocidad que alcanzan las bicicletas en las bajadas, compar\u00e1ndolas con motocicletas.<\/p>\n<h3>Preocupaci\u00f3n por la seguridad en las bajadas<\/h3>\n<p>Gouvenou, quien tambi\u00e9n dise\u00f1a el recorrido del Tour, manifest\u00f3: \u00abFirm\u00e9 para ser el jefe de seguridad de una carrera de bicicletas, no quiero terminar siendo el jefe de seguridad de una competencia de motocicletas\u00bb. La propuesta de la <strong>UCI<\/strong> de limitar las marchas de las bicicletas no ha avanzado, enfrent\u00e1ndose a la resistencia de algunos corredores.<\/p>\n<p>El directivo tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 las dificultades de asegurar los recorridos, ya que las carreras de ciclismo se desarrollan en rutas p\u00fablicas. \u00abLa naturaleza del ciclismo de ruta es que se lleva a cabo en un ambiente abierto, no en un estadio\u00bb, detall\u00f3, mencionando los desaf\u00edos de mantener la seguridad en un entorno con individuos que pueden desobedecer las normas.<\/p>\n<h3>Medidas en marcha para mejorar la seguridad<\/h3>\n<p>Para mejorar la seguridad, la UCI implementar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o un sistema de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n estandarizado para marcar peligros en las carreras.
