Esta iniciativa gener\u00f3 una r\u00e1pida reacci\u00f3n de los organizadores de estos eventos, quienes rechazaron contundentemente la idea.<\/p>\n<h3>Reacciones del Tour y el Giro<\/h3>\n<p>El director del <strong>Tour de Francia<\/strong>, <strong>Christian Prudhomme<\/strong>, ha dejado claro que no considera que esta cuesti\u00f3n le afecte. \u00abEsa cuesti\u00f3n afecta a ciertas grandes vueltas\u00bb, dijo, insinuando que solo el <strong>Giro<\/strong> y la <strong>Vuelta<\/strong> podr\u00edan verse reducidas. \u00abEl Tour dura tres semanas, abarcando cuatro fines de semana, y eso funciona perfecto\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el director del <strong>Giro d&#8217;Italia<\/strong>, <strong>Luca Guercilena<\/strong>, se mostr\u00f3 rotundamente en contra de la propuesta de la UCI. En sus palabras, \u00abel ciclismo profesional es un deporte de resistencia y las rondas de tres semanas garantizan que el que gane es un talento especial. Si cambiamos eso, cambiamos el ciclismo. No creo que lo valga\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El debate refleja no solo diferencias en la organizaci\u00f3n de las carreras, sino tambi\u00e9n en intereses comerciales e hist\u00f3ricos.
