La <strong>Uni\u00f3n Europea de Ciclismo (UEC)<\/strong> ha confirmado oficialmente este resultado, zanjando as\u00ed la pol\u00e9mica que hab\u00eda surgido tras la petici\u00f3n de Ciccone de verificar la foto finish.<\/p>\n<h3>La precisi\u00f3n de la foto finish<\/h3>\n<p>La diferencia de tiempo, equivalente a 0,2 milisegundos, se traduce en una distancia de entre 2,8 y 3,3 mil\u00edmetros entre las ruedas delanteras de los ciclistas. La tecnolog\u00eda utilizada, un sistema <strong>EtherLynx Vision PRO X<\/strong> de la empresa <strong>EvoData<\/strong>, permiti\u00f3 registrar la llegada con una precisi\u00f3n excepcional, capturando 13.000 l\u00edneas por segundo.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema de foto finish empleado no toma im\u00e1genes convencionales, sino que registra una franja vertical del plano de llegada, lo que permite determinar el momento exacto en que la rueda delantera de un ciclista cruza la l\u00ednea.
