L\u00f3pez hab\u00eda intentado revertir la sanci\u00f3n impuesta por la <strong>Uni\u00f3n Ciclista Internacional (UCI)<\/strong>, pero sin \u00e9xito. La sanci\u00f3n implica devolver el 70% de sus ingresos del ciclismo en 2022 y enfrenta una suspensi\u00f3n de cuatro a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<h3>Operaci\u00f3n Ilex y el rol de la CELAD<\/h3>\n<p>La sanci\u00f3n se origin\u00f3 en el marco de la <strong>Operaci\u00f3n Ilex<\/strong>, una investigaci\u00f3n llevada a cabo por la Guardia Civil espa\u00f1ola y la <strong>CELAD<\/strong>, que vincula a L\u00f3pez con el uso y posesi\u00f3n de sustancias prohibidas. La UCI determin\u00f3 que el ciclista colombiano hab\u00eda violado las normas antidopaje, bas\u00e1ndose en pruebas como la interceptaci\u00f3n de menotropina destinada a \u00e9l.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de llevar su caso hasta el <strong>Tribunal Federal suizo<\/strong>, buscando anular la sanci\u00f3n al alegar violaciones de derechos humanos por parte de la CELAD, L\u00f3pez no logr\u00f3 \u00e9xito. El tribunal concluy\u00f3 que las pruebas fueron recolectadas de manera adecuada y en conformidad con la <strong>Convenci\u00f3n Internacional contra el Dopaje<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abMiguel \u00c1ngel siempre defendi\u00f3 su inocencia y por eso llev\u00f3 su caso hasta las \u00faltimas consecuencias\u00bb, coment\u00f3 un portavoz de su entorno.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Finalmente, el ciclista deber\u00e1 aceptar la decisi\u00f3n y enfrentar las consecuencias financieras y profesionales de la sanci\u00f3n.
