Durante el sprint por el und\u00e9cimo lugar, una serie de movimientos en pelot\u00f3n lo llevaron a una aparatosa ca\u00edda. El incidente tuvo origen cuando <strong>Quinten Hermans<\/strong> (Pinarello-Q36.5) se desvi\u00f3, causando una reacci\u00f3n en cadena que termin\u00f3 con <strong>Paul Seixas<\/strong> tocando la rueda delantera de Ayuso.<\/p>\n<h3>Evaluaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y reacci\u00f3n del equipo<\/h3>\n<p>La primera evaluaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de Ayuso fue positiva, pero el jefe de rendimiento de <strong>Lidl-Trek<\/strong>, <strong>Josu Larrazabal<\/strong>, expres\u00f3 la necesidad de esperar 48 horas para evaluar completamente las consecuencias. \u00abEste tipo de impactos requieren esperar un par de d\u00edas para ver las consecuencias reales\u00bb, coment\u00f3 Larrazabal, quien a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que Ayuso estaba enojado pero con \u00e1nimo para bromear tras el accidente.<\/p>\n<p>De cara al Campeonato Mundial de Ciclismo en Ruta en Montreal, el momento no es ideal. Larrazabal se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el equipo y Ayuso est\u00e1n optando por un enfoque prudente: \u00abNos estamos preparando para el Campeonato Mundial, as\u00ed que tenemos que ser sensatos e ir d\u00eda a d\u00eda\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3>Contexto del accidente<\/h3>\n<p>Larrazabal aclar\u00f3 que Ayuso no responsabiliza a Seixas por el accidente. \u00abMucha gente critica a Seixas, pero desde nuestro punto de vista, \u00e9l no tiene ninguna culpa\u00bb, expres\u00f3.
