Estas modificaciones fueron discutidas por el <strong>Consejo de Ciclismo Profesional<\/strong> en su \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n en Suiza. Entre las principales novedades se incluyen medidas de seguridad y cambios en el sistema de puntos.<\/p>\n<h3>Implementaci\u00f3n de GPS en bicicletas<\/h3>\n<p>Uno de los cambios m\u00e1s destacados es la introducci\u00f3n obligatoria del seguimiento <strong>GPS en las bicicletas<\/strong>. Este sistema busca mejorar la seguridad de los ciclistas al permitir un monitoreo en tiempo real durante las carreras. La necesidad de esta tecnolog\u00eda se hizo evidente tras varios incidentes, como el tr\u00e1gico accidente de <strong>Muriel Furrer<\/strong> en 2024. La UCI ha instado a una implementaci\u00f3n urgente para garantizar una respuesta m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida en caso de accidentes.<\/p>\n<h3>Vallas m\u00e1s seguras en las metas<\/h3>\n<p>La seguridad en las l\u00edneas de meta tambi\u00e9n recibir\u00e1 atenci\u00f3n con la introducci\u00f3n de nuevas normas para las vallas. Este cambio se produce tras el grave accidente de <strong>Fabio Jakobsen<\/strong> en 2020. Las nuevas regulaciones exigir\u00e1n que las vallas cumplan con est\u00e1ndares m\u00e1s estrictos, buscando prevenir incidentes similares en el futuro.<\/p>\n<h3>Puntos para otras disciplinas<\/h3>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, a partir de 2027, los equipos podr\u00e1n acumular puntos en el ranking a trav\u00e9s de diversas disciplinas como el ciclocross y el ciclismo de monta\u00f1a.
