Esta medida llega tras un incidente en el que el alcalde <strong>Alessandro Rapinese<\/strong> fue atropellado por una bicicleta el\u00e9ctrica. El propio alcalde ha admitido que este episodio ha sido determinante en su decisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>Reacciones a la nueva regulaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>La regulaci\u00f3n afecta a unas 30 calles y plazas, donde los ciclistas deber\u00e1n bajarse y llevar sus bicicletas a pie. La medida ha generado controversia, ya que no distingue entre los diferentes tipos de bicicletas ni sus usuarios. Seg\u00fan el medio local <em>La Provincia di Como<\/em>, algunas cr\u00edticas sugieren que la soluci\u00f3n deber\u00eda centrarse en quienes circulan a velocidades peligrosas.<\/p>\n<p>El alcalde Rapinese ha defendido la medida, afirmando que su objetivo es priorizar la seguridad de los peatones. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abLa seguridad de los peatones es nuestra prioridad\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 Rapinese.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> Sin embargo, ha negado que se trate de una venganza personal.<\/p>\n<p>La organizaci\u00f3n <strong>Legambiente Como<\/strong> ha calificado la medida de \u00ababsurda\u00bb, argumentando que no todos los ciclistas deber\u00edan ser penalizados por el comportamiento de unos pocos.
