El neerland\u00e9s alcanz\u00f3 el d\u00e9cimo lugar en el Short Track, lo que le asegur\u00f3 un puesto en la segunda fila para la carrera de XCO del domingo. Sin embargo, el esfuerzo inicial fue tan intenso que no tuvo tiempo para recuperarse. A diferencia de otras disciplinas, el ritmo no disminuy\u00f3 durante los 23 minutos de competencia.<\/p>\n<p>En la s\u00e9ptima vuelta, un incidente casi le cuesta caro cuando se le resbal\u00f3 una mano del manillar en el rock garden. A pesar de esto, logr\u00f3 controlar la situaci\u00f3n y termin\u00f3 en el d\u00e9cimo lugar, a 36 segundos del ganador <strong>Adrien Boichis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Este resultado le permitir\u00e1 partir desde la segunda fila en el XCO del domingo.
