El corredor de 19 a\u00f1os, parte del equipo de desarrollo de <strong>NSN<\/strong>, se encontr\u00f3 con un veh\u00edculo que avanzaba en sentido contrario en una curva ciega, a 88 kil\u00f3metros de la meta.<\/p>\n<h3>Retiro del equipo NSN y reacciones<\/h3>\n<p>Tras el accidente, el equipo <strong>NSN<\/strong> decidi\u00f3 retirarse de la competencia. A pesar de la tragedia, la carrera continuar\u00e1, aunque con un ambiente de luto. La organizaci\u00f3n ha decidido cancelar las actividades promocionales restantes y rendir homenaje a Tarling antes de la salida de la pr\u00f3xima etapa.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLa carrera tendr\u00e1 que continuar\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 C\u00e2ndido Barbosa, quien expres\u00f3 la dificultad de controlar una competencia en carreteras abiertas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>El director de la Vuelta, <strong>Ezequiel Mosquera<\/strong>, lament\u00f3 la tragedia y destac\u00f3 el desaf\u00edo de garantizar la seguridad en un evento de tal magnitud. \u201cEs un d\u00eda terrible, que deber\u00eda haber sido un d\u00eda feliz\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n<h3>Detalles del accidente<\/h3>\n<p>El incidente ocurri\u00f3 en la <strong>Estrada Nacional 306<\/strong>, cuando Tarling se hab\u00eda rezagado del pelot\u00f3n. La colisi\u00f3n con una furgoneta blanca se dio en una zona de curvas con poca visibilidad.
