La ciclista australiana, con una trayectoria de m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada en la Copa del Mundo, ha logrado tres victorias \u00e9lite, 13 t\u00edtulos nacionales y ha participado en cuatro Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos. Ahora, Henderson est\u00e1 considerando un nuevo comienzo en el ciclismo de carretera.<\/p>\n<h3>Una decisi\u00f3n meditada<\/h3>\n<p>Henderson explic\u00f3 que su decisi\u00f3n responde a la necesidad de seguir disfrutando de las carreras y de continuar progresando como ciclista, adem\u00e1s de contar con un puesto remunerado en un equipo. Aunque podr\u00eda haber firmado un nuevo contrato de dos a\u00f1os, la repetitividad de la competici\u00f3n en la Copa del Mundo y una complicada temporada 2025 influyeron en su elecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En 2025, a pesar de comenzar como campeona de Australia de XCO y XCC, Henderson enfrent\u00f3 lesiones que afectaron su rendimiento. Aunque en 2026 ha registrado buenos n\u00fameros, estos no se han traducido en los resultados esperados, lo que la llev\u00f3 a valorar un cambio.<\/p>\n<h3>Un nuevo horizonte en la carretera<\/h3>\n<p>La posibilidad de competir en carretera es un reto que siempre ha atra\u00eddo a Henderson. Actualmente, pasa m\u00e1s tiempo entrenando con su bicicleta de ruta y ha participado en campeonatos nacionales de carretera.
