El domingo 16 de agosto participar\u00e1 por primera vez en el <strong>Campeonato de B\u00e9lgica de Gravel<\/strong>, una carrera de 150 kil\u00f3metros que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en <strong>Grobbendonk<\/strong>. Esta participaci\u00f3n le permitir\u00e1 competir cerca de casa y servir\u00e1 como preparaci\u00f3n para La Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<h3>Una oportunidad especial en su regi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>La carrera se celebra en la regi\u00f3n de Amberes, cerca de <strong>Herentals<\/strong>, donde Van Aert reside y entrena habitualmente. Seg\u00fan <strong>Erwin Vervecken<\/strong>, miembro de la organizaci\u00f3n, la salida y la meta est\u00e1n a solo siete kil\u00f3metros de su casa. Este contexto familiar hace que la carrera sea a\u00fan m\u00e1s atractiva para el ciclista.<\/p>\n<p>Van Aert hab\u00eda considerado participar en el campeonato el a\u00f1o anterior, pero su apretado calendario de carreras lo impidi\u00f3. Ahora, la fecha del campeonato es ideal, ya que se realiza solo seis d\u00edas antes del inicio de La Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a 2026.<\/p>\n<h3>Competir sin presi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>A pesar de no tener mucha experiencia en gravel, Van Aert se siente c\u00f3modo fuera del asfalto gracias a su pasado en el ciclocross. \u201cPara \u00e9l es un juego\u201d, explica Vervecken. \u201cPuede competir sin estr\u00e9s, y si gana el t\u00edtulo en su regi\u00f3n, ser\u00e1 un logro bonito. Si no, tampoco ser\u00e1 un problema.
