Esta carrera es una de las pruebas de resistencia m\u00e1s importantes de Estados Unidos, donde Simmons ya fue segundo a los 18 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<h3>Un desaf\u00edo a gran altitud<\/h3>\n<p>La competencia, conocida como <strong>Race Across the Sky<\/strong>, se desarrolla en un recorrido de m\u00e1s de 160 kil\u00f3metros, comenzando a m\u00e1s de 3.000 metros de altitud y alcanzando cotas superiores a los 3.600 metros. Simmons, oriundo de Durango, Colorado, est\u00e1 familiarizado con estas condiciones, y ya demostr\u00f3 su potencial en 2019 al terminar segundo pese a un pinchazo.<\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, el gran rival a vencer ser\u00e1 <strong>Keegan Swenson<\/strong>, quien ha dominado las \u00faltimas cinco ediciones y posee el r\u00e9cord de la carrera con un tiempo de 5:43:31.
