A pesar de su destacada actuaci\u00f3n en el <strong>Tour de France<\/strong>, donde gan\u00f3 dos etapas y la clasificaci\u00f3n de monta\u00f1a, Carapaz podr\u00eda optar por centrarse en objetivos m\u00e1s alcanzables.<\/p>\n<h3>Lesiones en el equipo<\/h3>\n<p>Carapaz mencion\u00f3 en una entrevista que su equipo sufri\u00f3 varias lesiones importantes: \u00abTres compa\u00f1eros tuvieron que operarse la rodilla, otros dos se cayeron, uno entrenando y a otro le atropell\u00f3 un carro\u00bb. Entre los afectados est\u00e1n <strong>Harry Sweeny<\/strong>, <strong>Lukas Nerurkar<\/strong> y <strong>Archie Ryan<\/strong>, quienes habr\u00edan sido apoyo clave en la monta\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>El ecuatoriano a\u00fan no descarta del todo pelear por la general, pero anticipa que su decisi\u00f3n final depender\u00e1 de una reuni\u00f3n con su equipo.
