Hasta 2022, las carreras pod\u00edan seguirse gratuitamente a trav\u00e9s de <strong>Red Bull TV<\/strong>, un modelo que favoreci\u00f3 el crecimiento de la audiencia. Sin embargo, desde 2023, con el acuerdo con <strong>Warner Bros. Discovery<\/strong>, el acceso se ha vuelto de pago, generando inquietud sobre si este nuevo modelo realmente ampl\u00eda el alcance del deporte.<\/p>\n<h3>Un cambio de era para el mountain bike<\/h3>\n<p>El acuerdo con Warner fue presentado como el inicio de una \u00abnueva era\u00bb para el mountain bike, con el objetivo de profesionalizar a\u00fan m\u00e1s el campeonato. Las retransmisiones ahora son m\u00e1s sofisticadas y espectaculares, incluyendo gr\u00e1ficos elaborados y contenido exclusivo. Sin embargo, el acceso de pago plantea dudas sobre si esta mejora llega a un p\u00fablico m\u00e1s amplio o si, por el contrario, limita la audiencia.<\/p>\n<p>La experiencia de otros deportes, como la <strong>F\u00f3rmula 1<\/strong> y <strong>MotoGP<\/strong>, sugiere que el paso a plataformas de pago puede reducir la audiencia, aunque aumente los ingresos por derechos audiovisuales.
