Seg\u00fan el dirigente belga, el n\u00famero actual de carreras importantes no justifica las grandes inversiones de equipos y patrocinadores.<\/p>\n<h3>Comparaci\u00f3n con el ciclismo masculino<\/h3>\n<p>Roodhooft destac\u00f3 que el <strong>Tour de Francia Femmes<\/strong> tiene solo nueve d\u00edas de duraci\u00f3n, mientras que las grandes vueltas masculinas ocupan 21 jornadas. Explic\u00f3 que el calendario necesita crecer para reflejar el desarrollo del deporte en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El dirigente tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 las diferencias entre equipos con estructuras masculinas y femeninas y aquellos que solo compiten en el pelot\u00f3n femenino. Aunque algunas inversiones pueden compartirse, cree que estas sinergias no resuelven el problema de fondo.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abLas inversiones ya son demasiado grandes como para aceptar el calendario actual\u00bb, asegur\u00f3 Roodhooft.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Para el responsable de Alpecin, el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico del ciclismo femenino debe ir de la mano de un calendario m\u00e1s amplio y con mayor impacto medi\u00e1tico.
