Geraint Thomas reflexiona sobre el desempe\u00f1o del equipo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El equipo <strong>INEOS<\/strong> pas\u00f3 por uno de sus Tours de France m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles en la memoria reciente, sin victorias de etapa ni un ciclista destacado en la clasificaci\u00f3n general. <strong>Geraint Thomas<\/strong>, en su debut como director deportivo, reconoci\u00f3 esta dura realidad mientras felicitaba a <strong>Egan Bernal<\/strong> por su esfuerzo en algunas etapas.<\/p>\n<h3>La falta de l\u00edderes y victorias<\/h3>\n<p>El equipo no logr\u00f3 ning\u00fan podio individual en las etapas y su mejor resultado fue el quinto puesto de <strong>Filippo Ganna<\/strong> en la novena etapa. En la clasificaci\u00f3n general, Bernal termin\u00f3 vig\u00e9simo, justo por delante de <strong>Thymen Arensman<\/strong>. Thomas coment\u00f3: \u00abQuer\u00edamos ganar la contrarreloj por equipos y otra etapa. Al fin y al cabo, el deporte profesional se trata de ganar, y no lo hicimos.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Originalmente, INEOS planeaba contar con tres l\u00edderes, pero <strong>K\u00e9vin Vauquelin<\/strong> se enferm\u00f3, <strong>Oscar Onley<\/strong> se lesion\u00f3 y <strong>Carlos Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> necesitaba un \u00abreinicio\u00bb, seg\u00fan Thomas.
